Who we are

Salt & Light is an international family of churches and leaders. It has developed over the last 30 years around the leadership of Barney Coombs as leaders and churches were been drawn together by a common desire to see the Body of Christ grow to be all God wants it to be. We believe in strong, loving and committed relationships within local churches and across the Body of Christ throughout the nations.

We are members of the Evangelical Alliance. We agree with their Basis of Faith and seek to abide by the guidelines of the Evangelical Relationships Commitment. Within the evangelical framework we have developed our own Core Commitments to express our charismatic and family distinctives.

In the UK Salt & Light works as a family of families to acknowledge both our togetherness and the distinctiveness of our local expressions (which we call Spheres).
