Want help to run training
Training men and women for God’s work is a vital part of our mandate as a family of churches. As part of the 2020vision> process we are coordinating a fresh framework, seeing churches, regions, national initiatives and partnerships with other training providers, working together to produce leaders for all that God is calling us to do.
Our goal
To train and release 300 'Level 2' leaders, that are competent in character, ministry and theology to lead churches, mission teams and other initiatives. To do this we estimate we need to see at least 1,000 people trained to Level 1. This is an ambitious goal, and we need to work together as churches, regions and nationally, each part contributing to the overall goal.
Our framework
To help us develop quality training across our family of churches we have adopted a simple four-level framework:
- Base Level: Building healthy churches - every church training all of God's people for all of God's work
- Level 1: Producing emerging leaders - churches and regions producing emerging leaders
- Level 2: Developing mature leadership - developing general and specific leadership skills
- Level 3: Developing equipping and specialist leadership
